James Arthur explains the delay behind the release of his new single.

The X Factor winner's track You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You is yet to be formally serviced to radio as the singer has apparently been too unwell to promote it.

The 25-year-old star revealed in a behind-the-scenes video posted to VEVO: "Unfortunately we've had a setback in release dates and when the song would go to radio because I got an infection in my vocal cords."

Arthur continued: "I can't perform to my maximum ability and that unfortunately pushes promo and stuff like that back."

The singer did have some positive news for fans though, adding that the song should be hitting the airwaves in a couple of weeks.

James dished: "The plans are that in a couple of weeks the song will go to radio and hopefully it will smash people in the face and they'll love it!"

I have  say I was wondering why it wasn't being played as much as it should of been, he is clearly feeling a lot better now and we wish him  every success with this single

You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You is currently slated for release on October 20 ah5ead of his self-titled debut album, which will drop on November 4.
