According to reports
Drake has revealed that he’s been putting in long hours and even sleeping in the studio to add the finishing touches to his forthcoming album, Nothing Was The Same.
The Canadian star has been working hard Toronto’s Metalworks Studios ahead of his third LP's release in the UK on September 23.Both Drake and his right hand man producer, Noah '40' Shebib have until Monday (September 9 ) to complete the set, with Drizzy telling Rolling Stone that they have been camping out since early July.
The Young Money rapper explained to the publication: "I'm literally sleeping in the studio on an air mattress.
“We're working 24-hour days to make sure the story is done, front to back. It has to be a new point of discovery."
The record is set to include guest appearances from hip-hop stars Jay Z, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne - who has appeared on numerous tracks with Drake
Drizzy also revealed that his new album will be more “concise” and will focus on him enjoying fame rather than contemplating it, unlike his last album, the highly successful, Take Care.
He explained: “With Take Care, everything had changed so much. I was almost lost mentally, looking for something that wasn't there.
“I had a choice whether to hold on to whatever the past was or to fight and fully embrace this incredible time in my life."
The Motto singer has also drafted in a couple of Brits for his forthcoming LP, with the likes of Scottish DJ Hudson Mohawke and Goldsmiths University graduate, James Blake, all on board.
Blake - who performed at Drake's OVO Festival in Toronto back in August - said of how he first approached the star: "I saw him at a show and told him I had some ideas knocking around, and he invited me to Toronto.
"Anything that comes out of that studio, I'm happy to be involved."
