Azleia Banks has taken to twitter with her latest controversial claim
that it’s become “trendy” to hate her.
The 212 rapper jibed that bloggers and the media are “jealous” of her
jokes and that there’s a conspiracy against her.
Taking to the social-networking site, Azealia ranted: "There is a
conspiracy against Azealia Banks. Starting to feel like bloggers are just
jealous that my jokes and quips are more funny and interesting than theirs are.
"Like by the time they get around to writing something creative or
funny, Azealia Banks has already beat them to the chase.”
She went on: "Every other artist gets to beef on twitter but
Azealia. The media gets so mad when I do it like I'm the only one. I'm f**king
funny as hell yooo Idc.
The remarks came after her most recent spat with Lady Gaga, where Bnaks
claimed that Mother Monster had copied her Mermaid Ball tour ideas for her
iTunes Festival headline show (September 1).
Gaga is not the first artist to be on the receiving end of one of
Azealia's rants, with the rapper also exchanging jibes with Lily Allen after
her Glastonbury performance earlier this year. I know the star gets a lot of
bad press and she goes in during these rants but I think more sars need to open
and say what they feel..
Banks will be playing a London show at Brixton’s O2 Academy November 30,
her latest single ATM Jam - featuring Pharrell Williams - is out now
