Hannah Barrett overwhelms X Factor judges

Hannah Barrett from south London  touched our hearts last night as she sang her heart out to the X Factor judges' the 17 year old Gregges worker talked about how her late father encouraged her to take up music.
She also became teary when Sharon Osbourne spoke to her about her relationship with her mum.

"We don't get along," said Barrett, who revealed that she had been kicked out of home and that she is now living in accommodation for young teenagers.

Her version of Emeli Sandé's 'Read All About It' was described as "stunning" by Gary Barlow.

Nicole Scherzinger told her that she was going "all the way", while Osbourne told the singer that she would have made her father proud with the "soulful" performance.

Osbourne warned Barrett that she needed to improve her performance skills at the second audition stage, joking: "I'll kick your ass if you don't get through."

Meanwhile, Gary Barlow seemed happy to have a Greggs worker among the contestants, commenting: "They do good sausage rolls!"

The X Factor continues on Sunday (September 1) at 8pm on ITV.
