Miley Cyrus lands her first No 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart.


Miley Cyrus has laned her first No 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart with We Can't Stop.

The former Hannah Montana star went straight in to the top spot this week, knocking last week's No 1 - Avicii's Wake Me Up - down to No 2.

Tinie Tempah had another new entry at No 3 with Trampoline (ft. 2 Chainz) while Lana Del Rey vs Cedric Gervais had a non-mover at No 4 with Summertime Sadness (Remix).

Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines (ft. T.I. & Pharrell) slipped two spots to No 5.

 over in the Official UK Albums Chart, Britain's Got Talent finalists Richard & Adam continued their reign at No 1 into a second week with The Impossible Dream.

The Civil Wars had a new entry at No 2 with their self-titled long player and Imagine Dragon rose seven spots to No 3 with Night Visions.

Passenger's All The Little Lights fell one place to No 4 while Jahmene Douglas rounded out the top five with Love Never Fails - which was last week's No 2.
