JLS shoot last video together

JLS filmed their last music video together as a group today (August 29) after announcing they would be splitting up earlier this year.

The multi award-winning group took to Twitter to reveal the news ahead of their farewell album and tour, Goodbye: The Greatest Hits Tour

They tweeted: "Last video shoot with JLS today sad day but don't worry it's going to be a good one @MarvinHumes @Oritse @AstonMerrygold @JBGill."

JLS announced in April that they would be releasing a single from their farewell album later this year and have been working on material throughout the year.

The boys wrote on their official website: “'Goodbye: The Greatest Hits Tour' will be the last time that we will perform together.”

“We want to make sure that this tour is the best ever and that we end on a high!”

Since coming second in 2008’s X Factor the group have had massive success, selling over 10 million records worldwide and winning best British Breakthrough act at the 2010 Brit Awards.

The group will mark the beginning of their tour in Belfast on December 1 and will continue performing throughout December in a number of UK cities before wrapping things up at London’s 02 Arena on December 22.

Justin Timberlake,Jay Z and Nas Collaboration conferred

According to reports 

Justin Timberlake has confirmed rumours that he has been working with Jay Z and Nas for his fourth studio album, The 20/20 Experience 2 Of 2.

The revelations came after an interview with Hip Hop radio station Hot 97, in which he confirmed the three had been working on the track, Sinatra In The Sands.

Justin himself however did say he still hasn’t heard the finished track and has so far only heard his verse on the song, which is produced by Timbaland.

Talking to the station hosts he said: “I didn’t know that Jay was going to be on it, I haven’t heard it done, I’ve only heard what Tim and I did.”

The Suit And Tie star didn’t want to go into too much detail about the track as Timbaland is known for reworking post-production - but said the pair always trust each other’s judgment.

“We trust each other a hundred thousand percent, he never questions me about lyrics or melodies,” he added. “We really blur lines between what we actually do in the studio.”

As well as confirming collaborations for the follow up including Drake, the singer revealed he had toyed with the idea of releasing The 20/20 Experience in four parts.

Speaking to MTV he said: "I went through a bunch of different ideas on how to release it, one being four EPs of five songs.”

Instead the singer opted for two 10-track albums. JT has previously said both himself and Timbaland allowed themselves just 20 days to complete the second album.

“We had 25 to 30 songs in 20 days. So we were just sprinting and sprinting and sprinting and then trying to figure out a way to put it out," he said.

"I had to figure out how to do a song, like a tracklist for two halves, versus just one big experience. Honestly, I just kind of thought of it like fashion."

The album is due for release September 30, with its first single Take Back The Night out now.

Jessie J says "No boobs" for Robin Thicke video

Jessie J has refused to strip off when filming the music video for her collaboration with Robin Thicke.

The Wild singer, who has teamed up with Thicke on track Calling All Hearts, will not be going naked like the models in Robin's promo for smash hit tune Blurred Lines.

Speaking of the shoot, Jessie told The Sun: "No boobs. Not doing that.

"Even though Robin is really cool and I was thrilled he wanted to duet with me."

She added: "I'll be getting paid a lot of money if they want me to dance around like the girls in the Blurred Lines video."

When asked about their duet - which is due to feature on an album by DJ Cassidy - the Price Tag hitmaker explained: "It is such a terrific sound.

"Earth, Wind & Fire play, along with musicians who worked on the biggest hits of Chaka Khan and Michael Jackson. It has a real Eighties vibe to it."

I think its good for Jessie to stand up for what she believes in and stand her ground. Is will be one sick track with these two on it and I can't for it to drop.

Thicke recently hit the headlines after Miley Cyrus twerked up against him during their racy performance of Blurred Lines at the 2013 MTV VMAs.

Are Miley Cyrus and Kanye West working together?

According to reports 

Miley Cyrus has allegedly been working in the studio with Kanye West on a remix EP due for release later this year.

After her twerktastic performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs (August 25), the New York Post claims that Miley skipped all after parties to record in secret with Kanye and is apparently due to appear on a remix of Yeezy's tune BLKKK SKKN HEAD.

Sources say the collaboration was "top-secret" and speculation circulated when West was one of the few artists absent at the Jay Z/Diddy VMAs after party in New York.

Kanye is not the only name supposedly added to Miley's rap credentials, with the former Disney star teaming up with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J on producer Mike WiLL Made It's new tune, 23.

The 20-year old - who has previously worked with Mike WiLL on her single We Can't Stop - has since tweeted two photos from her video shoot wearing a Chicago Bulls two-piece with iconic basketball player Michael Jordan's No.23 on the back.

Another picture shows Miley sporting a black thong over white boxer shorts and a red bra.

The pictures have come in the midst of Miley's new bad girl image, which has been causing controversy and turning heads, with her performance with Robin Thicke at the VMAs still the hot topic on everyone's lips. It's very hard to think of them working together on a project because they are so different, however the ones you don't see working together do and smash the charts.

23 is due for release September 10, but there is currently no premiere date for the promo.

Rihanna changed from a pair of jeans and t-shirt into a sexy body hugging black dress while Drake wore what we could only describe as a hot mess??? Drizzy why?? You are a good looking guy and have a stack of cash, sack the stylist!!

Kim Kardashian Praises Kanye WestVMAs Performance

Kim Kardashian has taken to Twitter to praise beau Kanye West, branding his 2013 MTV VMAs performance as the "best" of the night.

Taking to the same stage as Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus, Kimmy tweeted: "Best performance of the night @kanyewest !!!!!!!!!"

Yeezy kept it very minimal with his stint on stage for the first live rendition of Blood on the Leaves.

In contrast to his jolting performances of the Yeezus single BLKKK SKKKN Head which came complete with threatening hooded figures and ferocious barking dogs.

The song began with a very dim light illuminating only 'Ye's face, with the rest of the set shrouded in black, as the haunting refrain of the "Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees" came through the speakers in Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Not until the beat of the song dropped were viewers finally able to see that Steve McQueen's Lynching Tree was the only thing that Kanye had commissioned as his backdrop for the night.

The painting depicts a tree outside of New Orleans where slaves were once hung, with their graves littered across the ground under the leaves.

Blood on the Leaves samples Nina Simone's 1965 jazz cover of Billie Holiday's 1939 recording Strange Fruit, which was heavy with commentary on racism, slavery and the rise in the number of lynchings in the United States.

As the eerie line "bodies swinging in the Southern breeze" (in other words the "strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees") played back, the rapper\s completely blacked-out outline danced wildly to and fro in front of the painting.

While his leather pants, Pyrex Vision tops and heavy gold chains are usually prominent during his set, things were different tonight.

It wasn't until the song was finished and a dim blue light spotlighted Kanye for his final seconds onstage that fans even get a chance to see his full figure.

The 2013 MTV Video Awards will be shown on MTV from 8pm on Monday August 26.

Cheryl Cole's full rose tattoo revealed

Cheryl Cole's full rose tattoo appears to have been revealed to the world in an Instagram snap by her tattoo artist.

And fans have been surprised to see that the design extends all the way across the singers backside and down to the tops of her thighs.

Chezza's tattoo made another appearance earlier this week in her holiday snaps - but it had been assumed that the design merely covered her lower back.

The new image shared by Nikko Hurtado - in which a woman who appears to be Cheryl lays on her front wearing just a pink thong - reveals that it also seems to incorporate a rose on each buttock and more foliage around and beneath them.

He wrote: "Here is a in progress shot of a Tattoo I've been covering up and reworking. Really exited to show healed shots. It was some intense tattooing sessions. She's tough as nails."

Speaking to The Mirror earlier this year, Chezza said: "Nikko is the most amazing artist. It took 15 hours and was really painful. There's no particular reason I had it done. I just wanted to and I liked the design."

This is one big tattoo and it's very nicely done but something tells me she's going to regret it in latter life.

Kanye West talks Kim and what it's like living in the Jenner household.

Kanye West has gushed over his girlfriend and baby-mumma Kim Kardashian during a new interview with her mother Kris Jenner.

Several teaser clips were released overnight ahead of the premiere of Kanye's Kris episode later today, with the rapper speaking lovingly of Kim and her family.

Kanye told Jenner: "Someone could say you know, 'When the paparazzi surround you, how could you... everyone knows you don't like paparazzi, but why would you, why would you be with this person?'

"And I'm saying I'm being with this person because, you know I love this person. And she's worth it to me."

The star added: "She's my joy, and she brought my new joy into the world."

Kim and Kanye are currently living with Jenner and her family, and the Monster rapper told the audience that he's adapted well to their chaotic household.

Kanye continued: "It's like noise at all times happening. I wasn't used to it, and now when I'm out, you know, I try to get home early, just to be around my family."

Kanye will debut the first photo of baby North West on the show today, with Kris Jenner telling the Today show: "She's a beautiful combination of the both of them. She is so adorable."

Lady Gaga talks VMAS appearance

We're just days away from Lady Gaga's big return to the stage at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, and now, the pop star has opened up about what we can expect from her performance!

Gaga, who will be performing her new single Applause live for the first time, told Kiss FM UK:

"Well I don't want to give any specifics because of course I want everyone to be surprised, but it is the most physically challenging performance I've done, ever.

She continued: "It is so beautiful, it is so indicative of me as an artist. I feel in many ways that the performance is like a giant metaphor for me."

The performance at Brooklyn's Barclays Center marks the first time the 27-year-old has wowed the crowd since she underwent major hip surgery at the start of the year.

Gaga added: "We've been planning it for a very long time, I've been rehearsing every single day until my feet bleed.

"I'm so excited, I mean, I can't wait. You can't imagine how it felt for me to be away from the stage."

Lady Gaga is part of a star-studded roster of artists including Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West and many more performing at this year's VMAs.

Leona Lewis is X Factors highest seller in the UK

Leona Lewis has been named the X Factor's best-selling artist in the UK, beating One Direction, Olly Murs and JLS to the top spot.

The Bleeding Love singer has sold a total of 3.9 million albums and a further 4.4 million singles in the UK since winning the show back in 2006.

The figures were released by Music Week in the run up to the show's tenth anniversary. To date, artists from the singing contest have sold 30 million singles and 18 million albums here since the show began in 2004.

Murs is one behind Lewis in the singles with 3.9m in sales, while JLS trail behind in third with 3.4m. The positions are reversed however when looking at album sales.

JLS came out on top out of the two with units of 2.7m, beating Murs who sits back in third with 2.6m.

Elsewhere, Alexandra Burke holds the title for the best-selling X Factor single with Hallelujah shifting over 1.2m copies. The single beat James Arthur's Impossible by 30,000 sales.

Drake for VMAS

It has been conformed that...

Drake is the latest name confirmed to take to the stage at the 2013 MTV VMAs!

The Grammy Award-winning rapper is set to perform his smash hit tune Started From The Bottom at the ceremony, due to take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday, August 25.

Drizzy's accompanying music video for Started From The Bottom music is nominated for two Moonmen, including Best Direction and Best Hip Hop Video - the category he won last year with HYFR with Lil Wayne.

The Young Money star's performance at this bash will be his second ever stint on the VMA stage, following his rendition of Fancy at the show in 2010.

Drake joins previously announced performers Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke.

Fresh from touring with Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake on their Legends of Summer stadium tour, DJ Cassidy will also spin tunes throughout the ceremony.

We can also confirm that Video of the Year and Best Female Video nominee Taylor Swift is confirmed to present at this year’s show.

The likes of Best Song Of The Summer contender Selena Gomez, A$AP Rocky, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto - who is nominated for Best Rock Video - Emeli Sande and Kevin Hart will also hand out gongs on the night.

Kanye West reveals picture of North West?

According to MTV News 

Kanye West has reportedly unveiled the first picture of daughter North during an pre-recorded appearance on The Kris Jenner Show.

According to The Mirror, Yeezy showed off a snap of the tot while being grilled by Jenner - who is girlfriend Kim Kardashian's mum.

An audience member, known only as Janiela, took to Twitter to share the news, writing: "Just left the @KrisJennerShow and @kanyewest was there today! He was so open and blessed us with baby North's photo!"

She added: "She looks like Kanye. She has his cheeks and she is almost as dark as him and she has big eyes like Kim …toocute."

It is thought that West will also speak openly about his relationship with Kim during the interview, as well as discussing fatherhood.

Kim herself recently made her first public appearance on Jenner's show since giving birth to North in June via video link.

Kanye's interview with Kris in due to air Stateside on Friday (August 23).

Kanye West on Kris Jenner's television talk show?

Kanye West is set to appear as a guest on Kris Jenner's television talk show, it has been reported.

Us Weekly reports that the hip-hop star - who has a child with Kris' daughter Kim Kardashian - recorded an interview for the series finale of Kris yesterday. 

In it he apparently speaks about his love for Kim and his life as a new father following the birth of baby North in June this year.

He is also claimed to have joked that he's been in love with Kim so long that he considered becoming an athlete - a reference to her former relationships with sportsmen Kris Humphries and Reggie Bush.

Other subjects of conversation include his experience of living with Jenner since baby North was born and Kanye's stormy relationship with the press.

The official Twitter feed for the show teased: "So many rumours... You better tune in. ;) #WatchKris."

The interview is expected to be broadcast on Friday in the US.

Tinie Tempah for MOBO Awards

Tinie Tempah has been announced to perform at this year's MOBO Awards which are being held at Glasgow's SSE Hydro arena.

Returning to the stage which gave him his first industry award the three-time MOBO award winner said: "So excited to be back at the MOBO Awards performing brand new music!

"It's an award ceremony that's very important to me and one of the first that really embraced my work as an artist. Bring on October 19th!"

Also confirmed to perform at the ceremony in Glasgow on Saturday October 19 are London's finest Rudimental and Australian hip-hop princess Iggy Azalea.

The girls, who presented Miley with a Fashion Trendsetter award at Sundays  Teen Choice Awards, told Clevver TV on the blue carpet that they would "love to" work with the We Can't Stop singer.

Jesy Nelson said: "She's so sexy! We fancy her, we've got a girl crush on her"

Fellow band member Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: "She's amazing. Mix We Can't Stop with a bit of DNA, see what happens there!"

Little Mix also dished the dirt on plans for their second album, which will serve as a follow up to their hugely successful debut, DNA.

Jesy revealed: "We're working on our new album at the moment, and that comes out in the UK about November-ish time."

Jesy said of what to expect from the record: "I would say that it's definitely matured more, and it's a bit more RnB," while fellow singer Perrie Edwards added:

"It's still keeping the Little Mix sound, all the vocal harmonies, all of that. So we're really excited about this album."

Miley Cyrus has laned her first No 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart with We Can't Stop.

The former Hannah Montana star went straight in to the top spot this week, knocking last week's No 1 - Avicii's Wake Me Up - down to No 2.

Tinie Tempah had another new entry at No 3 with Trampoline (ft. 2 Chainz) while Lana Del Rey vs Cedric Gervais had a non-mover at No 4 with Summertime Sadness (Remix).

Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines (ft. T.I. & Pharrell) slipped two spots to No 5.

Cheryl Cole will not be taking part in the voice UK

The producers of the UK version of The Voice are reported to have ruled out Cheryl Cole in their search for two new coaches.

The Sun reports that senior execs at the BBC think that Chezza is still too closely linked to rival show The X Factor - on which she used to be a judge.

Will.I.Am had apparently been pushing for Cheryl to get a seat beside him on the show.

He previously told WIRED magazine: "Cheryl has been very successful on music talent shows in the past.

"She's great with the contestants and really gives everything to them. But also the audience loves her, which is so important on these shows, you need to be likeable.

"She has been concentrating on other things, but I could see her getting back into a talent show for sure. She would have offers from The UK and The US - but she would be perfect for The Voice."

Usher Wins Court Case Over Custody Of Children

 

According to reports 

Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster has lost a court bid to gain custody of their children.

Foster had applied for primary care of five-year-old Usher V and four-year-old Navivyd Ely, claiming that the R&B star was effectively an absent parent.

Usher V was recently hospitalised after nearly drowning in a swimming pool accident.

Usher, Foster and the singer's aunt Rena Oden all took the stand during the hearing in Atlanta - and the judge eventually dismissed Foster's argument.

According to Digital Spy, the singer and Foster were seen to hug at the end of the hearing, with Usher telling her "I'm sorry".

Usher V is expected to be released from hospital this weekend.

Charlotte Church slams X Factor

Charlotte Church has revealed that she turned down a job on The X Factor's judging panel.

And the singer told her followers on Twitter that she had said "no" on ideological grounds.

She wrote: "I got asked to do the X factor job. I'd rather poke my eyes out with sticks than be a part of the machine that kills music."

Asked by Popjustice to elaborate on her revelation, she said: "I had a meeting to ask about the level of involvement in the creative process I could have, and they basically said none unless it was in line with what was required.

"I wanted to see just how hard line it was. I found my answer and politely declined."

This isa little harsh if you ask me I think X Factor has opened many doors for many different people weather it be in the music industry or not.

Usher speaks out on sons pool accident

Usher has spoken out for the first time since his son’s tragic swimming pool accident on Monday, which left the 5-year-old hospitalised.

As  reported yesterday the incident that occurred at the singer’s home where his young son Usher Raymond V nearly drowned after getting his arm caught in the pool’s drain.

In a statement released last night the trading places star said: "I am blessed and fortunate to say that my son Usher V is doing well and is recovering."

"I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers, love and support for my family's well-being. I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock."

Usher, who was not home when the accident happened, also thanked the nearby workmen who saved his son’s life by performing CPR.

The star continued: "I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son's life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews. They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them."

Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster is also said to be present at the Atlanta Scottish Rite hospital where their son is being treated. 

Marvin Humes" I would like to take part in the voice"

According to reports 

JLS star Marvin Humes appears to have thrown his hat into the ring for a job on The Voice.

The pop star, whose TV career looks to be taking off  at the moment, has confessed that he "wouldn't say no" to a berth in one of the BBC show's famous revolving chairs.

Speaking in an interview for Sky Sports, the 28-year-old was asked if he'd be interested in replacing Jessie J or Danny O'Donoghue.

"I wouldn't say no to it at this stage, you know," he replied.

"It's a great show. Jessie J and Danny are big shoes to fill. They've done a great job, big fans of those guys. So, we'll wait and see - who knows. It's a really good show."

Marvin also admitted that he still watches The X Factor, and likes the show more than he did when he was on it.

But he stressed that he is not abandoning music for TV completely - talking about a planned dance music album.

"[It will be] like Calvin Harris does where I'm effectively the DJ-stroke-producer that puts the tracks together and then brings in some artists to feature on them."

Marv and wife Rochelle are to fill in on ITV's  daytime show This Morning later this moth. I  have to say I think it would be really interesting to see him take part in the voice  because he knows how it feels to be in that type of situation,Jessie J has said this week she would like to the likes of Emeli Sandé take on the job.

The song will be the follow-up to his debut single Impossible, which sold 1.3million copies and topped the UK chart.

Just last week James was teasing some new material, posting a short clip of himself "in full flow" online.

At the time he wrote: "Back in the studio this week. Thought you all might like to share a little look at me in full flow... #GETDOWN."

The 23-year-old singer has been working with super-producer Labrinth on his upcoming album, with Lab recently telling MTV News UK: "So far, from what I've heard from James Arthur sounds amazing. 

 

"His voice works on anything. I'm very sure he's gonna smash it and the record that we made, I'm sure it's gonna be massive."

Jessie J talks new single and drops fun new video

Jessie J has revealed that is was her haters and detractors who inspired her latest single It's My Party.

The singer told InDemand with Alex James: "A lot of the time the haters - I hate calling them haters but that's the easiest way to sum it up - they need love more so than anyone else."

"I don't think hate does anything for the world. It doesn't do any good. I wanted to make sure I had a song that represented what I'm about."

The 25-year-old star also discussed the trolls who send her hateful messages via social media.

Jessie added: "It's a lot to stomach. I'm taking a break from Twitter at the moment."

"I think life is about choices... I think negativity is a choice. I'm just trying to make people see that being miserable is not the way forward in life. Everyone should just get on and have a party!"

Jessie J premiered her new single It's My Party on Monday (August 5) but it is set for official release on September 15. Her new album will follow later in the year.

Beyonce sports new hair cut

Beyoncé has debuted a dramatic new 'do, posting pictures of her brand new blonde pixie cut on Instagram!

The 31-year-old star published the snaps on Wednesday (August 7). While Bey often experiments with different hair colours and styles, this is the first time since the start of her career that she's played with such a dramatic change in length.

Queen B debuted the 'do just two days after the summer leg of her Mrs Carter World Tour wrapped, and the stunning singer is almost unrecognisable with her new cropped look.

Just last month, Beyoncé's long locks got her into a bit of trouble when they got tangled in a fan during a performance of Halo.

Ever the professional, Bey carried on singing while her security team worked to extract her hair from the fan. She even managed to joke about the incident later, posting a note on her Instagram account which parodied the lyrics of Halo.

Ushers son in hospital

R&B star Usher's son Usher Raymond V is in intensive care following an accident in the family's swimming pool.

TMZ reports that the 5-year-old got his arm stuck in the pool's drain while trying to retrieve a toy on Monday afternoon (August 5).

Usher was not home at the time and the child was reportedly in the care of his aunt. The aunt and a maid tried to free Usher Raymond V, but it was only after two work men who happened to be at the property stepped in that the boy was able to be freed.

One of the men performed CPR and little Usher was rushed to the intensive care unit of an Atlanta hospital.

Billboard states that according to a police report, the boy was "conscious, alert and breathing" when paramedics arrived, and Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster are now by his side at the hospital.

Just last year, tragedy struck the family when Tameka's 11-year-old son (Usher's step-son) Kile Glover was struck by a Jet Ski while swimming in a lake in Atlanta. He later died after being taken off life support.

TMZ is now reporting that Foster has filed legal documents asking for an emergency hearing to discuss the custody arrangements of Usher Raymond V and his younger brother Naviyd.

The former couple have previously engaged in a fierce custody battle over their sons which resulted in Usher having primary custody and Tameka having limited custodial rights.
