Mollie King of The Saturdays has signed contract with Next modelling agency.
The singer will work under the company's Talent arm, alongside the likes of Rita Ora, Alexa Chung and Lana Del Rey.
The Disco Love star told Vogue magazine: "When I was approached by Next, I was so surprised, so excited."
The 26-year-old continued: "I feel really flattered to be placed alongside the names they already have, it's incredible.
"I'm used to having the girls around me, so it is a bit scary to be doing things on my own, but they were all so excited for me. I'm really looking forward to the next step."
Next representative Sarah Leon told the publication that the company fell for Mollie's sense of style.
Leon revealed "She started popping up on our radar. We noticed her style and how great she looked."
She added: "We really like to sign people who already have a style of their own, and who know what they like. Mollie has great things ahead."
Blonde beauty Mollie also admitted that her first shoot for the agency was more stripped back than she was expecting.
King stated: "Next decided to photograph me really simply, almost bare-faced. I was like, 'Are you sure you don't want some make-up? Is that it?' But the images look great."
Mollie and her fellow Sats released their fourth studio album Living for the Weekend earlier this month.
Well done to her but I hope it doesn't affect the group in anyway, I mean we love them right?
