Rita Ora on second album "Almost done"

Rita Ora has revealed that her eagerly-anticipated second album is almost complete.

The Shine Ya Light singer could hardly contain her excitement as she took to Twitter to tease that it was "nearly time" to announce her LP details.

Ora wrote: "Album 2. It's nearly time. I can't wait. I've never been or felt this excited EVER."

She then went on to quote reggae legend Bob Marley, tweeting: "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain."

The 23-year old has been busy working on the follow-up to her 2012 debut ORA, with the star recently revealing that her beau Calvin Harris has been giving her a helping hand with new music.

Ora told Capital FM: "You know it's just so nice to go out with somebody who has such a great history and real good experience on music and I really kind of trust his view.

"It's just really nice to have that reassurance and so I've had a lot of help from him and it's really refreshing because this album is I think is going to blow people away - well I hope so."

When asked if the Scottish DJ was honest when it came to her new material, Rita added: "Yes, Calvin's very good at knowing what's good and what's not."

The R.I.P. hitmaker also hit the headlines this week after confirming she will star as Christian Grey's adopted sister Mia in the film adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey. Ora has revealed that her eagerly-anticipated second album is almost complete.
