The rapper went straight to the top of the charts with his 12th studio album, which he has been performing live at this weekend's Yahoo! Wireless Festival in London.
The LP - Jigga's 12th platinum-seller - features collaborations with Justin Timberlake and Frank Ocean, as well as Jay-Z's wife Beyoncé.
Elsewhere in the chart, Rod Stewart's Time climbed back up to the No 2 spot, while Passenger also rose three places to No 3 with All The Little Things.
Canadian crooner Michael Bublé slipped two places to No 4 with To Be Loved, and last week's chart-toppers Mumford & Sons fell to No 5 with Babel.
Over in the Official UK Singles Chart, Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines regained the No 1 spot, knocking John Newman into second place with Love Me Again.
Straight in at No 3 were Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash, with their John Martin collaboration Reload.
Icona Pop's I Love It dropped one place to No 4, while Will.I.Am rounded out the top five with BangBang.
