Jay-Z " It's not my place to tell Rihanna what to do"

Jay-Z has made it clear he would never "intervene" in Rihanna's life, despite being "really good" at giving advice.

The Young Forever rapper signed RiRi to his label Roc Nation, but says he won't dish out advice unless asked.

Speaking on Hot 97's The Angie Show, Jigga said: "I give information when asked. I let everyone make their own decision."

Jay-Z went on: "That's not my place [to interfere]. I can't control the outcome of her life. I can't intervene. I can give advice if asked, you know, and that's it.

"I can provide information, and then life has to play out. Life has to happen." To be honest can he tell Rihanna what to do? No I think it is very clear that the star is her own wonman and she will do what she wants.

Rihanna's personal life often hits the headlines - most recently because of her reunion and subsequent split from former on/off flame Chris Brown.

But Jigga stays well clear of celebrity news, admitting that he doesn't read the gossip columns.

"I'm not into that," he explained. "I don't have enough time in the day to invest in it."
