Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has stated that Beyoncé "brings nothing" to her rendition of Back To Black. The Destiny's Child star has covered Winehouse's iconic track for Baz Luhrman's forthcoming adaptation of The Great Gatsby - with Mitch stating Bey should "pay for the privilege" of covering his late daughter's tune.
Speaking to The Daily Mail, Mr. Winehouse said: "I don't think she brings anything to it. I wasn't asked for my permission if they could record it.
"They have got to pay for the privilege, which is what they are doing. I can't tell you how much it is but it's a lot of money."
You can catch Queen B's version of Back To Black - which also features Andre 3000 - on the official sound track for flick.
The Great Gatsby hits UK cinemas on May 16.
Can anyone really do it like Amy did it?
