Taylor Swift is the highest-earning musician of 2013

Taylor Swift has been named the highest-earning musician of 2014.
Beating Beyoncé to the number one spot, the Red singer made almost $40 million over the last year thanks to merchandising, album sales and tours.
From her US tour alone, the country musician made around $30 million thanks to sponsorship, ticket sales and merchandise sales.
Another country act took the number 2 spot – Kenny Chseney – while Justin Timberlake came in at number 3 with a not-to-be-sniffed at $31.5 million.
JT’s first album since 2013 and his 20/20 Experience tour helped boost his post-N*Sync salary.
Stadium rock acts Bon Jovi and the Rolling Stones took the 4 and 5 spots while Queen Bey came in at number 6 with earnings of $24.5 million thanks to her international tour and stellar sales of her last album, the self-titled Beyoncé.
Pink just made the top 10 list, coming in at number 9 with earnings of $20 million.
